When my husband and I moved into a 400 square-foot apartment with a cramped galley kitchen, I called Kathy for help in tackling the cluttered cupboards. Kathy initially helped me organize my kitchen, and I was so pleased with the results, I also asked her to organize an entry way and a desk area of our home. The desk area previously held not only writing materials but also books, cameras, medications, recipes and a huge assortment of items! She helped us reorganize so that things I used most were arranged more effectively, storing those we don't use as often. After seeing Kathy organize areas with such speed and expertise, I certainly learned a lot that I've been able to apply to other areas of my home. They were MUCH less distracted. It was like they could look around the room.....see everything there was to see.....and then be ready to listen and learn. It was great! One of the students that I had experienced the most "challenges" with during the school year up to that point, really seemed to calm down after the changes in the room. The kids loved the "clean" look to the room. They knew exactly where everything went, and could see every area in the room. I've heard so much about Kathy's organizational skills from family members who've had Kathy come in and organize their homes! Now I've scheduled an appointment and can't wait for Kathy to attack my desk, kitchen and master bedroom/bath/closet areas! I run a busy business office (and spend 2 days a week at my home office). Transporting files between my business and home office generates piles of paper, lack of organization and 'spreading out' of the materials. Kathy came to my home to help me organize it from top to bottom before my youngest son's wedding.
